• Used brick, which just as its name says, comes from brick buildings that have been torn down.
• Replica used bricks that are new, just made to look as if they are really old
• Embossed brick with a pattern on the face of the brick.

Most people tend to use face brick because it has an aspect or timeless beauty about it. It comes in a wide variety of colors and designs that can add a unique character to your patio. Brick that is highly textured, such as the embossed brick, does look really elegant, but it is very difficult to clean. Whatever brick you decide to use, you have to make sure that you cover it with a sealant to prevent the weather and moisture from seeping into the brick and causing cracks.

You can also add waterfalls to make it a place of fantasy where you can sit back in your comfortable chair and make believe that you are in some exotic location.
